Rampila Restaurant and Wine Bar, Valletta
The entrance to Rampila is hidden away. You can see its terrace from the bridge over the moat into Valletta. It entrance though is opposite St johns Cavalier. A narrow staircase leads you into an old dining room with old walls and in a tunnel.
We were greeted warmly by the staff and led onto an open terrace. We ordered fairly quickly and the food really didn't take such a long time to be served considering that it was fresh and presented beautifully. It has definitely been our best meal in Valletta.
We aslo loved the exhibition which the owner proudly showed us, it has been open for over 10 years and it is so well kept. You can see figures of people shopping in the olden times and bakers, all with sound effects. It was a lovely addition to such a superb place!
